Unable to Connect/View on Phone/Tablet
If you are unable to view your cameras from your phone or tablet first check to to see if you can connect from home
Step 1: Make sure you are connected to your WiFi at home
Step 2: Open IVMS-4500 or IVMS-4500-HD app and navigate to the "Devices" tab
Step 3: Select "Home" and scroll down and select "Start Live View" If your cameras load continue to "Step 4" if however the cameras do not load please contact us for further troubleshooting.
Step 4: Disconnect from WiFi or connect to a different WiFi network other than your home network.
Step 5: Open IVMS-4500 or IVMS-4500-HD app and navigate to the "Devices" tab
Step 6: Select "Away" and write down the number shown in the "Address" field (eg. 123.123.123.123)
Step 7: On a computer or device connected to your home network/WiFi go to google.ca and search "What is my ip" or click this link https://www.google.ca/search?q=what+is+my+ip
Step 8: Compare the address you wrote down in "Step 6" to the address that Google shows. If both addresses are the same please contact us. If the addresses are different continue to "Step 9"
Step 9: Make sure your device is disconnected from your home WiFi
Step 10: Open IVMS-4500 on your device, navigate to the "Devices" tab, select "Away" in the "Device List" and select the "Edit" icon (top right corner)
Step 11: Erase the "Address" displayed and enter the address obtained from Google, and press "Save" icon (top right corner). If the message "Connection Failed" is displayed please contact us for further troubleshooting.
Step 12: Scroll down and select "Start Live View." Your cameras should load now, if not please contact us for further troubleshooting.
One or More Cameras are Offline/Unavailable on Your Phone/Tablet
Step 1: Check your NVR to see if all cameras are displayed on your TV/monitor. If you do not have a monitor attached to your NVR then either temporarily attach one through HDMI/VGA the continue to "Step 2" or get in contact with us.
Step 2: If all cameras are displayed continue to "Step _" if not please turn your NVR off and then on again.
Step 3: Check to see now if all the cameras are displayed. If they are continue to "Step 4" if not please contact us for further troubleshooting.
Step 4: Make sure your device is connected to your home WiFi
Step 5: Open IVMS-4500 on your device and select "Devices", then under "Device List" select "Home"
Step 6: Select "Edit" icon (top right corner) and select "Save" icon (top right corner), scroll down to "Camera No."
